To smoke or not to smoke? Everyone decides for themselves. However, you should be aware that there are places where smoking is prohibited under current law.
The spread of the habit leads to the fact that adolescents start smoking at the age of 11-12. What can this lead to? Even pregnant and breastfeeding mothers do not give up addiction. Parents smoke in their apartments, on balconies, without even thinking that they are shortening not only their lives, but also the lives of their children.
The main idea of the law is to use it to protect the health of the citizens of the country and to protect against the negative consequences of inhaling cigarette smoke. According to statistical studies, the very high mortality rate is due to this dependence. However, smoking affects not only smokers but also the people around them.

Smoking areas can be determined at the discretion of the owner of the land or premises.
If desired, the owner can be equipped with a special place that will be intended for smoking. It can be outdoors or it can be indoors. In the latter case, you will need to take care of installing a ventilation system. The law sets special requirements for these places: in a room where smoking is prohibited, it is necessary to install a special sign that will show the crossed out cigarette in a circle.
No smoking in different countries
Stricter anti-smoking measures have long been in place in most countries. In the first stage, each country implements measures to ban smoking in crowded places. In almost every country, the offender is fined significantly for failing to comply with this law.
In America, when he smokes a cigarette in the wrong place, the offender will have to pay an impressive fine. In the United Kingdom, this amount is even higher. Greece is also actively fighting against this addiction, for smoking in the wrong place there is a fine. In Japan, the fight against smoking is on a huge scale, there is even a list of streets where smoking is completely prohibited.
The list of places in all countries where smoking is prohibited is almost the same. However, once you have arrived in a foreign country, it is still better to familiarize yourself with its laws separately. Smoking areas are usually marked everywhere with certain signs. Some countries are even taking steps to curb cigarette sales. The country with the most non-smokers is the Vatican. Since 2002, smoking has been completely banned there.
Most countries have focused their efforts not only on identifying non-smoking areas, but also on promoting a healthy lifestyle. Defining banned places is humiliating for many smokers, as they now have to hide and go to places where smoking is possible. One begins to feel a little rejected and over time looks less and less for places where you can smoke. In a favorable environment, all this leads to the fact that a person quits smoking.
Since the adoption of the law, statistical indicators have significantly improved. Not only did the level of tobacco sales decrease, but positive changes in the birth rate began to be observed, the number of pathologies in newborns decreased. Lung and throat cancer mortality statistics have changed for the better. This bad habit is a powerful weapon of mass destruction that takes more lives a year than any war on the planet.
Currently, the state is trying not only to limit smoking areas, to turn cigarettes into a luxury item (gradually increasing their price), but also to actively fight against cigarette propaganda in the media. It's not so often that you see people smoking on TV screens and in movies.
